Woodstock Riding Club

The first order of business was to go through the catalog for any updates or changes.
Dates for the shows were confirmed:
June 4th – Annual Spring Show
July 9th – Summer Celebration
September 10th – Annual Fall Show
October 8th – Fall Fun Festival
The rummage sale will be on May 20th with a rain date of May 21st.
Jane will send the dates to the insurance company and Jenny will hire the judges for the show.
We went through the catalog and made the necessary board member changes and date changes. The in hand obstacle course will be dropped from the class list. There will be a command class added to the October show.
The ads were reviewed I will send the info to Roberta for the ads she acquired. The forms will go out the general membership.
The marked up book will be given to Jenny for the printer after the ads are in.
Marie has graciously donated a quilt for this year’s fund raiser. We need to decide about 2nd and 3rd prizes.
Brenda has completed the ribbon count. The treasurer’s report was reviewed – the club will pay ½ the taxes in January and the remainder in March.
The tree damage we suffered last year is in the hands of a lawyer. The estimate of the tree loss is approximately $7,900. A letter will be sent from the law firm requesting a payment of $12,000 to $15,000 else he can be sued for up to $25,000 plus fees. We will continue to followup with the lawyer.
