Woodstock Riding Club

The meeting was called to order at 7:11 PM by Vice-president Christina Steen-Byron
Minutes:
Minutes of the May Meeting were not available, basically it was discussion about the Dressage show and upcoming June Show.
Treasurer’s Report:
The treasurer’s report was reviewed verbally by Jane and available upon request. Reviewed the expenses of the previous shows and bills that have been paid. A motion was made to accept the treasurer’s report by Susan and seconded by Pat and so carried.
Old Business:
1. June show was very wet. The attendance was good with decent turnout of exhibitors and some new members. We would like to thank all who assisted in setting the show up, the day of the show and break down of the show…it was wet.
2. Camping weekend is July 30th and 31st. A motion was made to acquire the insurance rider for the camping weekend to cover any non-members who may attend. Motion to accept made by Jenny and seconded by Nancy. One abstained and others yes, motion carried.
New Business:
1. Jennifer will be announcing the July show. We still need someone for points. Also needed are:
a. Ring stewards and ribbon runners during the day
b. Booth help in the afternoon
c. Gate steward
Junior members need to step up to the plate during the show to assist with the above along with parents.
2. Set up for jumps will be Friday at 6:00pm. 4-H club will clean bathrooms and tidy club house. Setup for trail and the show booth will be Saturday @ 6:00pm.
3. If there is any rain, we will rent a roller to groom the show ring because of the divots caused during the show. This was acceptable to all present.
The meeting was adjourned at 7:52 PM.
